Bilingual Front Desk Receptionist – Dental Office (Phoenix, 85029)
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays ( 8am-2pm)
- Clinic Days: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Non-Clinic Days: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Overview
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and well-organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of dental front office experience, know how to use Open Dental software, and be fluent in both English and Spanish. This role requires great communication skills, professionalism, and a strong commitment to giving patients the best experience possible.
Key Duties
- Answer phone calls professionally and provide excellent customer service.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
- Call patients to remind them of upcoming visits or reactivate past patients.
- Check patients in and out quickly and efficiently.
- Handle patient payments and process transactions.
- Update and verify patient details and insurance information.
- Keep patient records accurate in Open Dental.
- Work with the doctor and office manager to coordinate daily schedules.
- Help schedule treatments and follow up with patients.
- Keep the front office running smoothly and efficiently.
- Make sure every patient feels welcome and well taken care of.
- Handle other office tasks as needed.
Office Upkeep
- Keep the office clean, tidy, and professional at all times.
- Make sure waiting areas, treatment rooms, restrooms, break room, and common spaces stay clean and presentable.
- Take out trash and replace liners when needed.
- Restock office as required.
- Work with the team to maintain a clean and organized office for the best patient experience.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of dental front office experience (required).
- Experience with Open Dental software (required).
- Fluent in English and Spanish (required).
- Great communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organization and ability to multitask.
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
- Reliable, on time, and dependable.
- Can work well alone or as part of a team.
