Overview We are seeking an experienced, organized, and friendly Front Office Specialist to join our dental family. Our front office specialist retired and we are looking forward to finding our next team member to compliment our practice. Our office is known for providing exceptional patient care in a comfortable, home-like environment, where all of our patients are treated like family. You will serve as the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming environment, while managing appointment scheduling, insurance verification, billing, and patient communication. Our ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working the front office solo (preferentially using Eaglesoft) and communicates with warmth and professionalism and thrives in a collaborative supportive atmosphere. Must have proficiency in working with insurance verification, claims and submission. We are a tight-knit office that thoroughly enjoys one another. Responsibilities â Insurance verification and benefit breakdowns â Dental insurance claims and follow-up â Working denied claims and resolving insurance issues â Treatment plan presentation and financial arrangements â Patient collections and account follow-up â Maintaining a productive schedule â Scheduling and confirming patient appointments â Greeting patients and creating a welcoming front-office experience â Answering phones and assisting patients with questions â Coordinating with the clinical team to keep the day running smoothly Qualifications â Previous dental front office experience required â Strong computer skills with proficiency in dental practice management software, specifically Eaglesoft â Strong knowledge of dental insurance, claims, and benefits â Comfortable discussing treatment costs and collecting patient balances â Confident presenting treatment plans â Excellent communication and customer-service skills â Organized, dependable, a quick learner, and able to multitask â Professional, positive, and comfortable taking ownership of the front office What We Offer A warm and uplifting workplace culture Supportive team environment Opportunity to build meaningful patient relationships Competitive compensation based on experience Pay: $26.02 - $32.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Paid time off Work Location: In person
