Dental Assistant (RDA)- Immediate opening - Kids and Teens Dental - Carrollton, TX

Location: Carrollton & McKinney, TX- This position will require you to travel to Carrollton at least 3 times per week and Mckinney at least 1 time per week. Pay: Starting at $19 an hour with 1 year of experience Position Overview We are looking for a reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing pediatric and orthodontic practice. This is a clinical-focused role where you will work directly with the dentist during exams and procedures, assist with charting and notes, and help ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience. You will play a key role in keeping the day running on time while making patients feel comfortable and cared for. Key Responsibilities Assist chairside during exams and procedures Take and record accurate clinical notes and charting Enter basic procedure codes and treatment details into the system Prepare and break down operatories between patients Take dental X-rays as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas Help guide patients and parents through their visit in a friendly, professional manner Communicate with front desk to keep schedule flowing smoothly Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience preferred (pediatric or ortho is a plus) Basic knowledge of dental terminology and charting X-ray certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication skills, especially with children and parents Ability to stay organized and move efficiently in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Schedule Full-time (Monday–Friday + 2 Saturdays per month) Opportunities for growth as the practice expands Work Location In person (Carrollton & McKinney, TX) Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 – 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Application Question(s): Will you be willing to travel to both Carrollton and Mckinney?
