Experience & Key Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist and/or hygienist during pediatric dental procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before and after patient appointments.
- Take and process dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations and practice protocols.
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Accurately document patient information and maintain infection control and sterilization standards.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Current Dental Assistant certification, coronal polish and Radiology certification.
- Pediatric dental experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with children and their families.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude.
