Experience & Key Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist and/or hygienist during pediatric dental procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before and after patient appointments.
• Take and process dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations and practice protocols.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
• Accurately document patient information and maintain infection control and sterilization standards.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Current Dental Assistant certification, coronal polish and Radiology certification.
• Pediatric dental experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with children and their families.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Team members are expected to uphold the culture outlined in the SDB Handbook, with a focus on our core values and any additional responsibilites as defined.
